We took about 400 pictures here these were the best.
Tishler Mound is a hidden spot in the Ocala Naional Forest off of Hwy 314 N about 4 miles from State Road 40. It is an Indian Burial Mound that dates back to the St John's culture built between 500 BC and 800 AD. It has been restored to its approximate original contours. Over the last century it has suffered from vandals and haphazard diggings by artifact collectors. The University of Florida in 1972 was able to collect some heritage information through excavations. Pottery fragments scattered throgh out the fill indicaed that it was constructed during the St John's Culture some 1200 to 2500 years ago. Due to the soils acidity and moisture only small non-identafiable bone fragments were found. These bones probably represented burials although no grave goods were found in the disturbed mound. I have searched for hours looking for history on the mound and have come up empty handed.There is a sign board at the mound that tells a little about this and similar mounds and what was found during excavations of this mound.
While we were there we had a great time tripping over fallen trees left over from the hurricanes from 2 years ago. We used Digital cameras, voice recorders and video camera, emf meters, and we also used Dowsing rods. At different times during our visit members of the team were over come with an icy feeling and goose bumps. It was a very clear night no dew, and was very dry, and June in Florida is never cold.
We were able to catch tons of orbs on the photo's, lots of colored orbs, and lots of orbs with faces. We did not however get any evp's or video.
While using the dowsing rods Kathy asked if there was anyone there and was given a yes, and that he was male and in his 40's. Teresa then took the rods and was sent on a game of chase around the mound. When asked which way she should go one or the other of the rods would move pointing the direction. Finally after a long walk in circles the rods crossed as being the right spot and then vibrated in her hands. It was totally awesome. As you can see in the pictures above an orb seemed to be leading Teresa as she folowed the directions given via the rods. The last picture shows as Teresa was at the spot indicated by the rods as the place the spirit was leading us too, and tons of orbs showed up including several with faces.
To all of us there was a feeling of peace here. And we will definatly be going back for further investigations.
